22 September 2016 - Johannesburg to Amsterdam
Check in with your tour manager in Johannesburg at Oliver Tambo airport around 20:00. After check in we depart Johannesburg to Amsterdam for the start of our European adventure. (Dinner on board flight)
23 September 2016 - Amsterdam
After breakfast we arrive in Amsterdam at Schippol airport. After completing custom formalities we depart to our hotel for a quick refresher. The Dutch country side awaits as we visit Zaanse Schans windmill village and the beautiful harbor village of Volendam. We then see how the traditional Clog’s (Wooden Shoe’s or Klompe) are made, and we taste some of the famous Edam cheese. We return to our hotel for a quick dinner, and then it’s time to enter Amsterdam for a guided tour of the infamous Red Light District. The rest of the night is yours to explore Amsterdam, the coffee shops, and to paint the town “Red”. (Breakfast on board flight, Dinner)
24 September 2016 - Amsterdam
A free day to explore Amsterdam. C the World recommends the Heineken brewery, Anne Frank’s house and the Leidse Pleins unlimited ribs!! (Breakfast)
25 September 2016 - Amsterdam to Rhine Valley (Boppard) to Mainz
We depart the Netherlands and enter Germany. We enjoy the German countryside as we continue south toward the Rhine Valley. We arrive in the small town of St Goar where we visit a traditional Cuckoo clock shop before we board our Rhine Valley cruise. The cruise takes us to the town of Boppard, where we will enjoy a wine tasting and some free time before we depart to Mainz. Dinner tonight is included for the entire group, and after dinner why not walk around the beautiful city centre (Breakfast, Dinner)
26 September 2016 - Rhine Valley to Heidelberg to Ulm
After breakfast we depart the Rhine valley and visit the small town of Heidelberg on the bank of the river Neckar. You will have time to enter the Heidelberg Castle and view one of the world biggest wine barrels. Heidelberg also has some excellent shopping opportunities. We continue to the town of Ulm where we spend the night. Try to get to bed early, because tomorrow we visit the Oktoberfest. (Breakfast, Dinner)
27 September 2016 - Ulm to Oktoberfest (Munich) to Innsbruck
A short drive into Munich takes you to the biggest beer festival in the World, OKTOBERFEST. Make your way to one of the 14 beer tents and contribute to the more than 7,000,000 liters of beer consumed annually. For the non beer lovers, the Oktoberfest offers markets, rides and plenty of activities on the famous grounds as well. In the afternoon we depart Munich, and spend the night in amazing Austria at Innsbruck. Why not visit the famous Swarovski shop before dinner and bed? (Breakfast, Dinner)
28 September 2016 - Innsbruck to Venice
We drive through the spectacular Italian dolomites and stop for lunch at a beautiful lake in the middle of the dolomites, and drive through the skiing village of Cortina D’Ampezzo . In the afternoon we arrive in Venice and check into our hotel. The canals of Venice wait as we show you the best of Venice. Highlights include the Rialto bridge and St Mark Square. A free evening after the guided tour, perhaps a Gondola ride? (Breakfast)

A free day in Venice. C the world recommends the glass blowing island of Murano, or head to Lido’s beach. (Breakfast)
30 September 2016 - Venice to Rome
We leave the beauty of Venice, and make our way to the ancient city of Rome and we “do as the Roman’s do”. A late afternoon guided tour of Rome shows you the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and much more. (Breakfast, Dinner)

A free day in Rome. C the world recommends the Vatican City. (Breakfast)
2 October 2016 - Rome to Florence to Pisa
Today we enter the rolling hills of Tuscany, and we make our way towards Florence for a city tour. See the famous cathedral of Duomo, Bridge of Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria (Copy of Michelangelo’s St David’s statue). Next stop is one of the most famous landmarks in Europe, the Leaning tower of Pisa. We spend the night in the outskirts of Lucca in a lovely 4* hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
3 October 2016 - Pisa to Switzerland
We head North past Milan, with a quick stop at Lake Como and into Switzerland with a spectacular drive over the Sustenpass in the Swiss Alps to Interlaken in the World famous Jungfrau area. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery of the Swiss Alps. (Breakfast, Dinner).
4 October 2016 - Switzerland
A free day to explore the Jungfrau region. C the World recommends the world heritage site of Jungfraujoch. (Breakfast)
5 October 2016 - Switzerland to Paris
Today we travel through the burgundy wine region of France, before we arrive at the capital city of Paris. A evening guided tour of the Sacre Couer, Monte marte, and Moulin Rouge. (Breakfast)
6 October 2016 - Paris
A morning guided tour of Paris shows you the Opera house, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomph, Notre Damne and Eiffel Tower. After lunch, an optional boat cruise takes you to the foot of the Eiffel tower where you will be able to make your way to the top floor with amazing 360 degree views of Paris. (Breakfast)
7 October 2016 - Paris to Johannesburg
An early morning start as we make our way to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris for a short connection flight to Amsterdam. From Amsterdam we fly directly to Johannesburg, and arrive back in Johannesburg with a scheduled arrival time of 21:15.
