1 July 2015 - Johannesburg to Paris
Check in with your tour guide at Oliver Tambo airport in Johannesburg around 12:00 PM. We depart South Africa to France on board the Worlds 5* airline, Qatar airways. (Dinner on board flight)
2 July 2015 - Paris
We arrive in Paris early in the morning and depart on a coach tour through Paris and stop at the Eiffel tower for some photo’s. We check into our hotel for some well deserved free time. After lunch we go on a walking tour of the Sacre Couer, Monte marte, and Moulin Rouge. (Breakfast)
3 July 2015 - Paris
A morning guided tour of Paris shows you the Opera house, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomph, Notre Damne and Eiffel Tower. After lunch, an optional boat cruise takes you to the foot of the Eiffel tower where you will be able to make your way to the top floor with amazing 360 degree views of Paris. (Breakfast)
4 July 2015 - Paris
A free day to enjoy Paris and all it’s sights. Or join our guide for an optional tour to Euro Disney Paris, and enjoy everything the Park has to offer. Great fun for children and adults! (Breakfast)
5 July 2015 - Paris to Heideberg
After breakfast we leave France through the Champagne area and enter Germany heading towards Heidelberg. The University town of Heidelberg is not only famous for the castle, but also has some excellent shopping opportunities and great small pubs for your free evening. Beer and bratwurst for dinner anyone? (Breakfast)
6 July 2015 - Heidelberg to Munich
We continue South East through Germany to Dachau memorial site and learn more about the first concentration camp and the second world war. We spend the night in Munich and enjoy the sounds of the German Umpa music while having dinner in the a traditional German Beer keller. (Breakfast, Dinner)
7 July 2015 - Munich to Innsbruck
Goodbye Germany, hello Austria! But before we leave Germany, we visit Neuschwanstein Castle, a white beauty in the German mountains, where King Ludwig II lived. That evening we spend the evening in Innsbruck. Ladies get ready for Swarovski! (Breakfast, Dinner)
8 July 2015 - Innsburg to Venice
After breakfast we enter Italy as we leave the motorways and take the road less travelled through the Italian Dolomites and past small lakes. A picnic lunch next to the water will leave you breathless. We arrive in Venice in the afternoon and go on a walking tour of the islands and canals. Highlights include the Rialto Bridge and San Marco square. (Breakfast)
9 July 2015 - Venice
A free day in Venice. C the World recommends the glass blowing of Murano, the lace of Burano and the beach of Lido! Most of all remember to get lost! (Breakfast)
10 July 2015 - Venice to Rome
Today we have our eyes set on the Eternal City of Rome! We arrive in Rome in the afternoon and enjoy a walking tour of highlights like the Colosseum, the ancient ruins, National building, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and so much more. (Breakfast, Dinner)
11 July 2015 - Rome
A free day in Rome. C the World recommends the Vatican City. (Breakfast).
12 July 2015 - Rome to Florence to Lucca
A full day of fun as we start with a walking tour in Florence and some free time for lunch to find that Pizza you have been looking for. Why not try a traditional steak Florentine? A short drive takes us to the leaning tower of Pisa where you will enjoy some free time to take the traditional photos. We end this fun filled day in Lucca in one of the few remaining walled cities. (Breakfast, Dinner)
13 July 2015 - Lucca to Lake Como to Interlaken
We take a drive through the Italian mountains towards Milan, where have lunch stop at Lake Como with the rich and famous. Ladies can try and spot George Clooney! We enter Switzerland with the Swiss mountains guiding us to the Susten pass and then to Interlaken in the heart of the world famous Jungfrau region. (Breakfast, Dinner)
14 July 2015 - Interlaken
A free day to enjoy Interlaken. C the World recommends an optional trip to the Jungfraujoch, the top of Europe, and enjoy the snow and Ice castle in a glacier!! (Breakfast)
15 July 2015 - Interlaken to Geneva
We depart Interlaken and enjoy some free time in Geneva, famous for the Jet d’Eau, a water fountain in Lake Geneva that shoots water 140m in the air, at over 250km per hour. We depart to Geneva airport for our for our flight home. (Breakfast, Dinner on board flight)
16 July 2015 - Johannesburg
We arrive back in Johannesburg with a scheduled arrival time of 13:45 PM. Say goodbye to new friends made, and start thinking about the reunion party!
